The Call for Civic Values and Constitutional Renewal

The Advance UK Mission: Reclaiming National Sovereignty and Civic Equality

Advance UK is a political party in the United Kingdom founded by Ben Habib, a former Brexit Party MEP. Launched in 2025, the party has quickly positioned itself as a distinct political force focused on constitutional renewal and national restoration. It is rapidly attracting disenfranchised voters seeking a return to foundational civic values and equality for all under the law. Operating as an “exploding asset” for the right-of-centre, Advance UK bypasses traditional political labels by rooting its platform in four core pillars: Nation, Freedom, Democracy, and Equality under UK Law. The party’s overarching goal is to “mend broken Britain” and reclaim sovereignty by defending the principles that define the British state.

An “exploding asset” for the centre right

The concept of ‘Nation’ serves as the cornerstone of the party’s platform, dedicated to defending the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in its entirety. This dedication is tied directly to the UK’s historic and unwritten constitution, which includes the principles of the Magna Carta and the foundational role of Christianity interwoven into law and Parliament.

Advance UK is committed to an uncompromising assertion of the Acts of Union and explicitly rejects the Northern Ireland Protocol, which created a border in the Irish Sea, vowing to remove it entirely. This is central to their constitutional renewal agenda. A major focus is protecting national sovereignty against foreign influence, as the party believes that supra-national institutions like the United Nations (UN), the World Health Organization (WHO), and the World Economic Forum (WEF) undermine British democracy. The party promises to stop the dilution of government power caused by international law and treaties, linking sovereignty directly to civic responsibility.

Freedom, Culture, and Fair Immigration

The pillar of ‘Freedom’ primarily revolves around unrestricted free speech, a fundamental civic right. The party asserts that all people should be free to think, speak, and act according to their conscience and beliefs, provided they do not incite violence. A parallel concern in the mission is protecting children from what the party identifies as “ideological and political indoctrination” in schools. This defence of personal liberty is paired with the belief that there should be minimal government intervention in people’s private lives.

On the critical issue of immigration, Advance UK takes a firm and clear stance. They strongly condemn mass migration, arguing it erodes British culture and damages the economy. When addressing illegal migration, the party states it would take all steps required to deport every illegal migrant currently in the country, viewing this as a necessary measure for restoring borders and the rule of law. This policy is presented as an achievable commitment to national control, distinguishing them from parties they claim deem the policy “politically impossible.”

Restoring Democracy and Equality Under the Law

The final two pillars, ‘Democracy’ and ‘Equality under UK Law,’ focus on accountable governance and a unified justice system.

The party calls for the government to be fully accountable only to the British people. This extends to a promise to dismantle ‘domestic quangos’ (quasi-autonomous non-governmental organisations) that they believe operate outside democratic scrutiny. Regarding the economy, the party has suggested supporting “Liz Truss-style” tax cuts and removing all quangos established during the Tony Blair era to reduce state intervention and promote wealth creation.

Under the law pillar, Advance UK insists that all people in the UK must be subject only to UK law, ensuring equality for all citizens and residents alike, with no discrimination based on ethnicity, sex, or sexual orientation. The British legal system is asserted as the single, impartial legal system in the nation. This emphasis on UK law is coupled with specific social policies, including a firm stance against assisted dying and a policy of never allowing trans women (who they identify as men) into women’s prisons. The party prioritises the security of life and property as fundamental to a peaceful and prosperous society.

The Advance UK mission is to serve as a voice for voters who feel that sovereignty and core civic values have been ignored by the political establishment. Their focus is on setting a direction that promotes the nation-state, its constitutional principles, and the equal application of UK law above all else.
